 Marquel LeNoir is the daughter of Andrea and Michael LeNoir. Marquel died in an automobile accident while a freshman at Hampton University on November 4th, 1993. She was an exceptional person. She grew up in Oakland and graduated second in her class with a 3.8 grade point average. She entered Hampton University to major in premedical studies. Every year the LeNoir Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship to an exceptional student who will be attending a mainly African American college in memory of Marquel LeNoir.
